Staging Before & After: A Lovely Glenview 2-Bedroom Home

Nestled amid towering trees at the end of a cul-de-sac with million-dollar homes, this lovely 2-bedroom home was cherished by the owners for many decades. Check out how I refreshed the space to hit the New Trier real estate market.

Living Room

With east and south-facing windows, it was essential to highlight the room’s natural light. To do this, I removed the dated valances and opened the curtains to let the maximum light flow in.

Dining Room

A dining room is a special entertaining area in any home. However, you don’t always need a big table when it comes time to sell because extra-long tables take up valuable visual real estate. By removing the table’s leaves, the sunny room felt larger.

Family Room

The paneling in this family room gave me instant beach vibes. Being only a few miles away from Lake Michigan, I played up the coastal look with blue/white sofa covers and pillows.

Eat-In Kitchen

The homeowners had so many beautiful plants to style throughout the home. I loved the pop of greenery on the table.
